What our guests are saying
Honestly, this is one of the best fried chicken spots I’ve found around here. The Indian-style masala fried chicken and wings taste amazing—the flavors feel so familiar and comforting. I tried their combo (sandwich, fries, and ghee rice), and it was absolutely delicious. That ghee rice with the chicken really took me back to my mom’s food. The best part? The prices are very affordable, and the place is run by a sweet, friendly family. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Highly recommend this place if you want good food, real flavors, and a homely vibe!

The food was absolutely delicious. Like others have written, this was probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I ordered the 2-piece masala dark meat with fries and rice. They also gave me what they called “special sauce." It was so good, and it paired with my whole meal. The couple who own it are extremely nice and welcoming. It felt like I had eaten a home-cooked family dinner. I’ll definitely be coming again!

The Fried Shack is a great addition to the North side. The food here is really good and super affordable and offers a fun mix of American and Indian/Mediterranean flavors. We tried the samosas, chicken sandwich, masala fries, and chicken gyro bowl, and everything was fantastic for a really good price! The family that owns the place was extremely friendly too. Despite being in a gas station convenience store, the kitchen is large and clean. There are no spots to sit and eat, so plan on taking your food home or, if the weather is nice, eating across the street at Warner Park.
